WP5: Integrated geoecohydrological model

The hydrological and sediment discharge model and the river channel morphology model of WP1 will be coupled with the groundwater-surface water model of WP2 and the ecological relations of WP3. This integrated and novel model tool will allow us to simulate future changes in floodplain geoecohydrology. The integrated model will be evaluated using the long-term reconstructions of WP4.

The integrated geoecohydrological model will be used to evaluate the effects of climate change, land use change and changes in management measures on the floodplains geoecohydrology.
